I would like to pass along an event coming up in October that may be of interest to museum staffer and volunteers. Deana Haggag, CEO and President of United States Artists, will be in conversation with Venessa Fuentes (Poet/Jerome Foundation) and Tricia Heuring (Public Functionary/MRAC/St. Mary’s) on October 18th at 7 p.m. They’ll be speaking about vulnerability, power, and equity related to arts funding, specifically the support of individual artists. Ananya Dance Theater will kick-off the evening with a brief performance. This gathering is being co-presented with the Ordway and will take place there.
